Job Summary
As an Experienced Customer Service - Self Storage Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing daily operations, and ensuring the smooth running of our self-storage facilities. This is a unique opportunity to work independently at multiple locations, develop your skills and knowledge, and advance your career in the self-storage industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, including assessing their storage needs, making suggestions, and selling packing and moving supplies
- Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent
- Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of the daily business
- Help keep our customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required
- Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal clean and free of debris
- Work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside
- Utilize your own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business (mileage reimbursement available)
Physical Requirements
* Ability to transport, lift, and move items weighing up to 35 pounds
- Ability to walk in/around facilities, spending up to 50% of your time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors
Qualifications
* Experience: Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service-centered sales environments, including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies
- Transportation: Our employees are required to have a valid driver's license and utilize their own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business (mileage reimbursement available)
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 35 pounds
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
