About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key contributor to our customer service team, you will be the eyes and ears for our team, fielding customer inquiries and finding innovative ways to respond. Key Responsibilities

  • Connect with customers via phone, email, chat, and/or social media to resolve their questions or concerns
  • Calmly attempt to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise
  • Escalate interactions when necessary and appropriate to ensure timely and effective resolution
  • Respond to requests for assistance and/or possible processing payments in a professional and courteous manner
  • Track all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes to ensure quality and consistency
  • Provide feedback on call issues to help improve our customer service processes and procedures
  • Upsell products or services when required, in a way that is respectful and beneficial to the customer

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, with a strong ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively
  • 6 months of customer service experience preferred, with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Over 18 years of age, with a high school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Ability to type 25 wpm, with strong oral and written communication skills and logical problem-solving skills
  • Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems, and ability to navigate and learn new software applications
  • Organization and work prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

  • Previous experience working in a healthcare or medical-related field, with a strong understanding of healthcare terminology and concepts
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment, with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technical tools and systems
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers who speak languages other than English

Work from Home Requirements

To work from home with arenaflex, you will need to meet the following internet and workspace requirements:

  • Minimum subscribed download rate equal to or exceeds 15.0 Mbps
  • Minimum subscribed upload rate equal to or exceeds 5.0 Mbps
  • ISP must have no packet loss and ping under 50ms
  • Internet connections cannot be Satellite, Mobile Data (5G, 4G, 3G hotspots), P2P or VPN
  • Proof of internet speed required, with a clean and quiet workspace that is free from distractions and interruptions
