Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Cloud AI Engineer to join our team as an Enterprise Customer Engineer. In this role, you'll identify and assess large-scale AI opportunities that can benefit from AI-optimized infrastructure, helping clients leverage accelerators within their overall cloud strategy. You'll work closely with internal Cloud AI teams to overcome obstacles and shape the future of services.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and assess large-scale AI opportunities that can benefit from AI-optimized infrastructure

• Help clients leverage accelerators within their overall cloud strategy by running benchmarks for current models, finding opportunities to use accelerators for new models, developing migration paths, and assisting with research fees to optimize performance
• Work closely with internal Cloud AI teams to overcome obstacles and shape the future of services
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements
• Develop repeatable assets to enable other clients and internal teams
• Influence Google Cloud approach on the intersection of infrastructure and AI/ML by advocating for client requirements
• Travel to client sites and events as needed

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure
• Experience building and operationalizing machine learning models
• Experience delivering technical presentations while leading detailed discovery and planning sessions aligned with the client with defined scope and success criteria

Desired Qualifications:

* Experience with education and fine-tuning large models (e.g., image, language, segmentation, recommendation, genomics) with accelerators

• Experience running MLPerf benchmarks
• Experience with performance profiling tools (e.g., Tensorflow profiler, PyTorch profiler, Tensorboard)
• Experience with distributed training and optimizing performance vs. cost
• Experience designing/architecting large-scale infrastructure farms for professional AI use cases
• Ability to interact with C-level or senior business leaders and influence decisions

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:

The USA-based salary range for this full-time role is $125-$175 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and applicable education or certification.
