Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative to work in our overnight shift, providing support to our patients who are in need of life-sustaining medications. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for handling inbound calls, responding to patient inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and compassionate manner. Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls from patients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that patients feel supported and empowered to manage their health and wellbeing
  • Process prescription refills, order status, and insurance coverage, ensuring that patients receive the timely and effective support they need
  • Work collaboratively with our pharmacy team to ensure that patients receive seamless and coordinated care
  • Utilize strong computer skills and knowledge of Windows, Microsoft, or other applications to efficiently manage patient interactions and resolve issues
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, and to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in healthcare and customer service

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in customer service, with at least 12 months of experience working in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment. You will also need to have excellent computer skills, with experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or other applications. A passion for helping others and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service are essential for this role.

Essential Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • 6+ months of high call center experience, with a strong track record of resolving complex customer issues
  • Must live within 75 miles of Mount Prospect, IL
  • Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Strong computer skills, with experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or other applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months experience handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone
  • Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions
  • Experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of patient needs and concerns

Compensation and Benefits
