The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Maker to join our team and lead the development of a new game that will showcase the best of arenaflex's creative talent. As a Senior Maker, you will be responsible for leading a team of creatives in the development of a game that will be released on multiple platforms, including console, PC, and mobile. You will work closely with our internal teams, including game development, art, and design, to ensure that the game meets our high standards of quality and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development of a new game from concept to launch, working closely with internal teams to ensure that the game meets our high standards of quality and innovation.
- Collaborate with game development, art, and design teams to ensure that the game is engaging, immersive, and meets our creative vision.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including game development, art, and design teams, to ensure that the game is delivered on time and within budget.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, helping them to develop their skills and expertise.
- Work closely with our internal teams to ensure that the game is aligned with our company's overall strategy and goals.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the game development process, including game design, art, and programming.
- Collaborate with our internal teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that the game is delivered on time and within budget.
Essential Qualifications
* 7 years of experience in game development, with a focus on console, PC, and mobile games.
- 3 years of experience in leading teams, with a focus on game development, art, and design.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, engaging experiences that captivate audiences worldwide.
- Strong understanding of game development principles, including game design, art, and programming.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Strong understanding of game development tools and technologies, including game engines, programming languages, and art software.
