Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our high-level investigation and content development group. As a Data Analyst, you will apply advanced analytical methods to drive business decisions, investigate client behavior, and anticipate content engagement. You will work closely with our content team to develop and implement data-driven strategies that enhance our content portfolio, marketing, and delivery system.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced investigation methods (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) on large-scale, high-dimensional data to drive business decisions
- Investigate client behavior (e.g., content preferences, viewing patterns) to identify untapped client needs and undiscovered content opportunities
- Anticipate content engagement to inform securing decisions
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance content launch and episode release methodologies
- Test marketing methodologies to improve engagement and retention
- Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both strategic and tactical direction
- Provide specialized investigation support to partners to drive business growth
- Effectively communicate significant results through compelling data storytelling across the organization
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in data analysis
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in R or Python
- Experience in statistical analysis and AI procedures: decision trees, regression, clustering, etc.
- Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems
- Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in media and entertainment industry
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and natural language processing
