Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative (Chat) to join our team. As a key member of our customer support team, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers through live chat, email, and phone interactions. You'll also have the opportunity to consult customers on the best value for their contact lens purchase, making sales a key part of this role. Responsibilities

* Answer 2-3 incoming chats using LiveEngage (LivePerson) platform, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Reply to incoming emails from customers, providing clear and concise solutions to their concerns
  • Request contact lens prescriptions via phone from eye care providers as needed, ensuring seamless communication with our customers and partners
  • Consult customers on the best value for their contact lens purchase, making sales a key part of this role
  • Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, delivering solutions that create a positive experience for our customers
  • Maintain high performance metrics, including quality, sales, and dependability, to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues, thinking on your feet to find creative solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues

Requirements

* High school diploma (or GED equivalent)

  • Great typing and computer skills, with a minimum of 35 words per minute
  • Hustle and tireless work ethic, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Self-starter with a driven, motivated, proactive, and disciplined approach to work
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks simultaneously, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Innovative thinker with a knack for problem-solving and creative solutions
  • Previous experience in customer service and sales is a plus, but not required
  • Strong technical aptitude and resourcefulness, with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Self-motivated and collaborative, with a passion for working as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a customer-facing role, with a focus on sales and customer service

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Experience with live chat platforms, such as LiveEngage (LivePerson)
  • Familiarity with contact lens and vision care industry, with a passion for staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments
