Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in supporting our operations team. You'll be responsible for entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems, transmitting information or documents using a computer, and verifying information in documents or on computer screens for accuracy and completeness. You'll also be responsible for operating standard office equipment, such as telephones, typewriters, fax machines, photocopiers, calculators, and electronic peripherals.

Key Responsibilities

* Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems

  • Transmit information or documents using a computer
  • Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print)
  • Enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball to update records, files, reservations, and answer inquiries from guests
  • Verify information in documents or on computer screens, including text, printed forms, and lists for accuracy and completeness
  • Operate standard office equipment other than computers, such as telephones, typewriters, fax machines, photocopiers, calculators, and electronic peripherals
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

* Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Experience working in a hospitality or customer service environment
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and systems
  • Certification in data entry or a related field

Compensation and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Hourly rate: $18.50 to $24.00 per hour
  • Accrual of 0.03334 PTO balance for every hour worked
  • Eligibility to receive a minimum of 7 holidays annually
