As a remote Data Entry Clerk, you will be an integral part of our Help Desk team, working closely with our technicians to provide top-notch support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and processing customer requests for technical assistance through our ticketing system
  • Opening and submitting tickets for review by our Help Desk technicians
  • Reviewing each open ticket to determine the outcome and coordinating follow-up actions as necessary
  • Providing exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and updating them on the status of their tickets
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and ticket resolutions
  • Collaborating with our Help Desk team to ensure seamless communication and efficient ticket resolution

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in I.T. Help Desk ticketing or online customer service for a technology company or busy online retailer (not required but highly desirable)
  • Excellent typing skills (at least 40 wpm) and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with ticketing systems
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new processes and systems

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly beneficial:

  • Experience with ticketing systems and Help Desk software
  • Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services (although not required, it's a plus)
  • Certification in customer service or IT support (e.g., CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation)
