Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Driver Onboarding Specialist/Data Entry Clerk to join our team and play a critical role in onboarding and supporting our delivery professionals. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for reviewing applications, conducting virtual vehicle safety inspections, and communicating with drivers via various channels. Responsibilities
As a Driver Onboarding Specialist/Data Entry Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing applications, insurance documents, and vehicle registration documents for accuracy and eligibility
- Conducting virtual vehicle safety inspections with qualified driver-applicants (training provided)
- Communicating with delivery professionals via text, chat, and email about the status of their applications
- Ordering driver applicants' pre-employment background checks using company software
- Maintaining accurate records and data entry in our systems
- Collaborating with the team to resolve any issues or concerns related to driver onboarding
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 2+ years of experience in a business environment, preferably in data entry, human resources, receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service
- Associate's degree or above (preferred, but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Comfortable with smartphone applications and web-based applications
- Ability to work in a quiet, distraction-free environment with reliable internet access
- Availability to work full-time, including some weekends and nights
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
- 1-2 years of experience in recruiting/onboarding gig app workers or working in data entry, HR, or customer service
- Experience with virtual vehicle safety inspections or similar processes
- Familiarity with company software and systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $25,000 to $35,000 annually, based on your skills, education, and experience. This role is also eligible for additional benefits, including:
