Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Princeton, NJ. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional telephone assistance to Aetna Medicaid members and providers. Your primary goal will be to deliver an excellent experience to our callers, addressing their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming member and provider calls and responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs
  • Providing accurate and timely information to members and providers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Resolving complex issues and escalating concerns to senior team members when necessary
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve customer experience
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on empathy, active listening, and problem-solving
  • Ability to work from home and prove self-sufficiency
  • High-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable (use of Wi-Fi is not permitted)
  • Ability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working remotely in a call center setting

  • Experience with Medicaid and Medicare
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and policies
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
