Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-time Remote Data Entry Assistant to join our team. As a Data Entry Assistant, you'll be responsible for accurately entering information on incoming cases into our computer system, generating work cards, and performing various administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking for a part-time remote position with a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions

As a Part-time Remote Data Entry Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately entering information on incoming cases into our computer system and generating work cards
  • Coding cases in preparation for data entry
  • Making necessary changes to computer work cards to place cases on-hold, change dates, codes, etc.
  • Scanning paperwork for each case for electronic storage
  • Looking up previous paperwork in files as needed for case information or reworks
  • Utilizing and operating case tracking software
  • Entering cases to be shipped via a shipping vendor into the appropriate system
  • Scanning paperwork
  • Performing all other duties as assigned by management

Skills and Abilities Required

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and abilities:

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Data entry and computer skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Minimum Education and Experience Required

* Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • No experience required; we offer paid, hands-on training!

Physical Requirements

* Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach

  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Repeated bending and kneeling
  • Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds
