Key Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to inbound calls from customers seeking information and support related to healthcare programs
  • Documenting details of conversations to ensure accurate and efficient information sharing
  • Utilizing online reference materials, scripts, and other resources to guide conversations and provide confident, accurate, and efficient information
  • Effectively utilizing technical systems, including desktop, call center-specific phone systems, and the internet
  • Meeting department quality assurance standards and metrics
  • Educating and answering questions from customers, providing the most up-to-date information about healthcare programs
  • Following protocol and applying sensitivity and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Maintaining a reliable private internet connection, not supplied by cellular data, with the ability to hardwire via ethernet cable

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • Healthcare-related certification
  • Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong internet connection due to the remote nature of this role
  • Ability to pass language knowledge assessment

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Previous government clearance
