About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in our mission by serving as the primary point of contact for consumers who have requested our services. Your main objective will be to verify customer information, assess their needs, and filter out smaller jobs to ensure that our partners are investing their time and resources in the most profitable and suitable projects. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make continuous outbound calls to customers who have requested our services, ensuring a high level of engagement and follow-through.
  • Utilize an on-screen script and flowchart efficiently to guide conversations and ensure that all necessary information is collected and documented.
  • Document and update customer records accurately and in a timely manner, reflecting the outcomes of each interaction.
  • Perform warm handoffs of consumers to our partner contractors, ensuring a smooth transition and high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our services and the home improvement industry, providing valuable insights and recommendations to customers as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills that facilitate clear and concise interactions with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to use a computer, headset, and other equipment necessary for remote work, as well as proficiency in using software applications and tools relevant to the role.

Preferred qualifications include experience in the home improvement industry, familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software, and a certification in customer service or a related field.

Technical Requirements

To perform the duties of this role, you will need to have access to specific equipment and technology that meets the following minimum requirements:

  • Headset with a built-in microphone.
  • External mouse (no trackpads).
  • CPU: i5 or higher.
  • RAM: 8 GB or more.
  • Storage: HDD (128 GB minimum) or SSD (128 GB recommended).
  • Screen resolution: 1366 x 768 (HD) or better.
  • Number of USB ports: 2 minimum, 3+ recommended.
  • Operating System: Windows 10 or higher (no Chromebooks or Macs).
  • Ethernet port for hardwired internet connection.
  • Internet speed: 50 Mbps down / 5 Mbps up.

Shifts and Scheduling

We offer both part-time and full-time scheduling options to accommodate different needs and preferences. The available shifts are as follows:

  • Part-time: 28 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday from 4 pm to 9 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm.
  • Full-time: 40 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday from 12 pm to 8 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm.
