The Role
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be part of our dynamic tech team that's responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our clients' digital lives. Key Responsibilities
* Design and build high-performance data processing and analytics systems on a hybrid cloud platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliverables
- Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable data pipelines and architectures
- Work with designers and engineers to design and implement data visualizations and reporting tools
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data engineering
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our data engineering practices
- Collaborate with peer teams across various areas to drive business outcomes and deliver high-quality results
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in software development and engineering, with a focus on data processing and analytics
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python
- Experience with data storage and processing technologies such as NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, Elasticsearch), data warehouses (e.g., Amazon Redshift), and data streaming platforms (e.g., Apache Kafka)
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure), containerization (e.g., Docker), and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop creative solutions
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with big data processing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
- Experience with cloud-native services (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)
