Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Sr Associate Technical Customer Support – Network Operations Center Analyst to join our team in Oakton, VA. As a key member of our operations team, you'll work in a 24x7 Network Operations Center using arenaflex's iGems network monitoring platform to monitor for, troubleshoot, and manage fault conditions for several custom managed network clients. Your expertise in Cisco and Juniper routers, as well as your ability to dynamically multitask on complex, diverse issues, will be essential in providing top-notch technical support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

* Monitor for, troubleshoot, and manage incidents for Wide Area Network and/or Local Area Network environments for several large, custom global enterprise network deployments

  • Work in a 24x7 Network Operations Center providing tier 2 technical support of WAN/LAN networks for domestic and global clients
  • Use arenaflex's iGems network monitoring platform to monitor for, troubleshoot, and manage fault conditions for several custom managed network clients
  • Troubleshoot complex routing issues (Cisco/Juniper) and advanced understanding of OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP WAN troubleshooting/problem determination
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and provide timely updates on the status of issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and best practices
  • Participate in on-call rotations and be available to respond to critical issues outside of regular working hours
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of arenaflex's products and services, as well as industry trends and technologies

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry or military experience

  • CCNA/CCNP or equivalent networking knowledge
  • Ability to diagnose complex routing issues (Cisco/Juniper)
  • Advanced understanding of OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP WAN troubleshooting/problem determination
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* ITIL knowledge/experience

  • Experience with F5 and/or Cisco ACE Load Balancer
  • Advanced Juniper Campus/Data Center LAN troubleshooting/problem determination experience
  • Advanced knowledge of and experience with Juniper JUNOS/SRX Architecture
  • Experience working in a 24x7 Network Operations Center environment
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies

Compensation and Benefits

* Competitive salary range: $47,600 - $100,900
