Job Summary

We are seeking an Experienced Customer Service Representative to join our remote team in Florida. As a key member of our Healthcare Call Center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and healthcare providers. Your primary focus will be on resolving missed visits or missed supplies, handling LTC (Member/Provider) calls, reviewing authorizations, and triaging/routing calls correctly. If you have a strong background in customer service, medical terminology, and experience in managed care or physician's offices, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative in our Healthcare Call Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in resolving missed visits or missed supplies by reaching out to Providers for status updates and authorizations, as needed
  • Handling all LTC (Member/Provider) calls, focusing on one call resolution and answering calls in a timely manner
  • Reviewing authorizations and assisting with correcting authorizations, as needed, to match the PCCP
  • Triage/routing calls correctly, unless the member/provider insists on speaking with a CC, the team will try to resolve issues brought up by the caller before the call is routed to CC or Sup

Performance Expectations

To ensure success in this role, you will be expected to meet the following performance expectations:

  • Call Center metrics (Talk time, Hold, Aftercall), Schedule Adherence, and Call Quality scores of 95% or above

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Call Center experience is a must, with a strong background in customer service
  • 2-3 years of experience in managed care or physician's offices
  • Medical terminology knowledge
  • Strong typing skills
  • Experience with LTC/Medical Authorization
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Microsoft Windows
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
