Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to connect directly with customers who reach out to us for various reasons, from finding their new pet to resolving issues with their orders. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Examining and resolving customer issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing proactive solutions and setting follow-up appointments as needed to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Working with empathy, attention to detail, persistence, sympathy, and thoughtfulness to provide exceptional customer service
  • Collaborating with colleagues and partners across various levels of the organization using virtual collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, and webcams to foster a customer-driven culture of cooperation
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) as demonstrated in a written evaluation
  • Ability to multitask (e.g., handling phone calls while researching on the computer and taking notes) and perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using computers, both for data entry and navigation through systems and the web to find information to support customers
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities
  • Flexibility to adjust your schedule and work beyond 40 hours as needed by the team
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications, or customer service)
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))

Technical Requirements

To ensure a seamless customer experience, you'll need:

  • A dedicated workspace that's large enough to accommodate a computer screen and free from distractions, including background noise
  • A webcam-compatible workspace
  • A solid wired, high-speed internet connection (30 Mbps+ download speed/10 Mbps+ upload speed) – you can test your internet speed at speedtest.net or by contacting your internet service provider
  • A wireless or tablet device for two-factor authentication through Okta Confirm
