Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing respectful, friendly, and efficient customer service to our valued customers. You will be the face of our brand, interacting with customers through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person. Your primary goal will be to resolve customer issues, answer questions, and provide solutions that meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Provides exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every customer interaction
- Registers customer transactions on the sales register, collects cash, and distributes change as required
- Processes voids, returns, postponements, discounts, and trades as necessary
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace, including counters, shelves, and stock areas
- Checks in and costs stock as required or as directed by the shift manager or store manager
- Carries out organizational resource assurance methods to identify and minimize loss
- Ensures compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled items (e.g., tobacco and alcohol products)
- Develops and maintains displays, including seasonal, promotional, and special displays
- Completes resets and updates as directed
- Assists with the separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and item placement as determined by strategies/systems
- Provides customer assistance in the photo area, including digital ID photo service, banner print, and creative machine
- Takes on web order responsibilities (screens orders in Picture Care, handles requests, and delivers orders to customers as they arrive at the store)
- Assists with external and internal support by ensuring a clean, neat, and well-maintained store environment and appearance
- Conforms to all organizational policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with colleagues
- Completes special tasks and other assignments as directed
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekend hours
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
Preferred Qualifications
* Six months of experience in a retail environment
- Previous work experience with arenaflex
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekend hours
