As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be part of a dynamic team that values flexibility, adaptability, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer inquiries received via phone, email, and fax, documenting interactions in Salesforce
  • Providing expert recommendations on arenaflex's standard product (VBS) offerings, including pricing and information-related complaints
  • Proactively interacting with customers, technical service, sales, distribution centers, manufacturing, purchasing, and credit teams to ensure seamless communication and quick responses
  • Maintaining and growing business at existing and new arenaflex accounts through proactive engagement and relationship-building
  • Recommending, quoting, sampling, and selling VBS products to meet customer needs
  • Documenting opportunities where VBS products don't meet customer requirements and transferring customers to the arenaflex technical community for further discussion
  • Handling all aspects of order fulfillment, from receipt to delivery and invoicing
  • Entering new orders, verifying accuracy against documented procedures, and processing order changes and cancellations
  • Recommending alternative VBS constructions if required
  • Monitoring open work orders and expediting as needed
  • Notifying customers of late or problem orders and providing VBS product alternatives to assist customers
  • Resolving customer-specific freight and logistics issues through consultation with arenaflex Shipping Departments
  • Utilizing the E-price tool to support customer inquiries, including VBS product recommendations, price quotes, price discounting, application sheets, product sampling, and trial orders
  • Resolving information-related customer complaints and implementing corrective action
  • Handling complaints related to pricing mistakes, order entry errors, and customer accommodations
  • Proactively engaging assigned accounts to understand business applications and uncover missed opportunities
  • Assisting with order entry overflow for repeat orders and standard price quotations overflow
  • Entering new customer information and contributing to Customer Service Improvement Teams as required

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience

  • 1-3 years of previous Customer Service experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience using an ERP system is highly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a collaborative team spirit
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • Experience using Salesforce.com is a plus

Job Specifications

* Work environment: Home/Office Environment

  • Physical work environment: Occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching; repetitive movement of hands and fingers (typing and/or writing); reach with hands and arms; talk and hear
  • Travel percentage: Limited for industry education
  • Pacific Time Zone hours required
