As a key member of this team, you'll be working closely with cross-functional partners to develop and implement strategies that protect our users and promote a positive online experience.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Director, Global Head, Adversarial Abuse/Analytics, you'll be responsible for leading the Adversarial Abuse team, which focuses on identifying and eliminating malicious actors attempting to compromise our platform. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the Adversarial Abuse team in recognizing and eliminating threats, including account takeovers, spam, and commitment misuse
• Collaborating with the Business Investigation team to produce insights, estimate uncaught badnesses, and distribute Transparency Reports for countries around the world
• Understanding, anticipating, and insightfully mitigating risks from new, scaling industry patterns (e.g., generative AI)
• Working with the Strategy Development team to create policies using account, social, and content signals to describe harmful behavior
• Delivering high-quality and productive operational execution (e.g., quality, service levels) in a global team working 24x7
• Attracting, retaining, developing, and fostering exceptional talent
• Managing accelerations with quick turnaround times, providing data-driven insights, and implementing solutions while building relationships with key cross-functional partners to launch new products and strategies that effectively prevent adversarial abuse

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics)
• Four years of experience in a related field, or equivalent common sense experience
• Two years of experience working with risk management, fraud fighting at scale, and building/conveying analytical models
• Two years of experience working with design teams that build data infrastructure and ML models
• Two years of experience driving teams with the ability to work non-standard weeks as accelerations require

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will be highly valued:

• Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., research, design, data science)
• Two years of experience with investigation of large datasets and anomaly detection
• Experience or demonstrated interest in adversarial abuse activities
• Knowledge of SQL/R/Matlab
• Exceptional influencing and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners
• Outstanding business judgment, critical, and analytical skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action in a rapidly changing industry
