The Trust and Security, Adversarial Abuse/Analytics Team

Our Trust and Security team is at the forefront of the battle against online threats, working tirelessly to identify and mitigate risks, and develop innovative solutions to protect our users. As a member of this team, you'll be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment, working closely with experts from various disciplines to drive results and achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Director, Global Head, Adversarial Abuse/Analytics, you'll be responsible for leading the Adversarial Abuse group, which focuses on identifying and eliminating malicious actors attempting to compromise our platform. You'll also lead the Business Analytics group, responsible for producing insights, estimating uncaught threats, and distributing Transparency Reports for countries around the world. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the Adversarial Abuse group: Develop and implement strategies to identify and eliminate malicious actors, including account takeovers, spam, and commitment misuse.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams: Work closely with the Product Management and Design teams to develop information frameworks and tools to stay ahead of emerging threats.
• Driving business analytics: Develop and implement data-driven insights to inform our Trust and Security strategy, and drive business decisions.
• Managing accelerations: Lead high-priority projects with tight timelines, providing data-driven insights and content-driven experiences to inform our approach.
• Building and maintaining relationships: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, to drive results and achieve our goals.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree: In a relevant field, such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
• 4+ years of experience: In a related field, with a focus on risk management, abuse fighting, and data analysis.
• 2+ years of experience: Working with design teams to develop information frameworks and ML models.
• 2+ years of experience: Driving teams with the ability to work non-standard hours, as required by the business.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

• Postgraduate education: In a related field, such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
• 2+ years of experience: In investigation of large datasets and anomaly detection.
• Experience or interest: In adversarial abuse activities.
• Proficiency in SQL/R/Matlab: And other relevant programming languages.
• Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills: With the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
