Key Responsibilities
As an Industrial Engineering and Transportation Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the H.L. Transportation Fleet in analyzing and optimizing transportation logistics
- Consulting and communicating with managers to outline and prioritize business needs
- Integrating multiple data assets across various database platforms
- Building, creating, and maintaining multiple Excel spreadsheets
- Analyzing and interpreting data to inform business decisions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements
Job Description – Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience as a Data Analyst or in a related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and functions
- Experience with Microsoft Access is preferred
- Strong typing and 10-key skills
- Ability to pass a Background Check and a Drug Test
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
