Responsibilities

As an Online Chat Representative at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to multiple inbound chats in a timely and efficient manner, gathering and verifying required information as necessary
  • Identifying current and prospective customer needs and determining appropriate solutions to resolve all issues and concerns, as well as qualifying leads and explaining the type of service or product offered that may be beneficial to the customer
  • Communicating information and answering questions regarding current promotions and new or upgraded products
  • Completing system documentation and tasks to ensure follow-through of appropriate actions
  • Leveraging tools and processes (including prepared responses) appropriately
  • Striving to meet defined metrics for productivity, quality, and customer experience
  • Maintaining thorough systems, network, and product knowledge

Requirements

To succeed as an Online Chat Representative at blithequark, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • U.S. Citizen
  • At a minimum, an individual must be able to type 35 WPM efficiently
  • Excellent grammar and spelling skills
  • Ability to recognize consultative upsell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Ability to provide a high-level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (i.e., verbal, written, listening)
  • Excellent research and customer service problem-solving skills required
  • Satisfactorily meeting job performance expectations for current position
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and Windows

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in customer service or sales
  • Familiarity with live chat software and technology
  • Experience working in a call center or customer-facing environment
  • Strong knowledge of products and services offered by blithequark
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
