As a member of our hybrid call center team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and customers, providing support and guidance on complex medical and benefits plans. You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team, working under the direction of our experienced Customer Service Supervisor. Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling incoming calls and making outbound follow-ups as needed, updating phone status accordingly
  • Navigating multiple systems, including phone software, documentation tools, and online resources
  • Maintaining clear and accurate records of calls and actions
  • Responding to inquiries via phone and email about COBRA, billing eligibility for insurance plans, and general questions about policies and payments
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to clients and customers

Schedule and Location

This is a temporary position requiring a 3-month commitment, with strong potential for hire. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM. While this position is primarily remote, you must be flexible and available to report on-site if needed. Our office locations include Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, and Utica.

Compensation and Benefits

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate of $16.29, increasing to $18.22 upon hire. You will also have access to a range of benefits and perks, including:

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems and software applications
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset in this role:

  • Experience working with COBRA, billing eligibility, and insurance plans
  • Familiarity with phone software and documentation tools
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
