Job Summary

As an Experienced Engineering Manager at blithequark, you'll be responsible for leading a team of engineers and making key decisions that impact our cross-functional partners. Your role will involve close work with code, technical details, and data, as well as collaboration with various teams across software, services, and AI/ML. You'll have the opportunity to define requirements and objectives for cross-functional software projects, create a multi-year roadmap, and lead the design and execution phases of software development.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead a team of engineers and make key decisions that impact cross-functional partners

• Collaborate with various teams across software, services, and AI/ML
• Define requirements and objectives for cross-functional software projects
• Create a multi-year roadmap and lead the design and execution phases of software development
• Oversee the work of some of the brightest engineers in the industry
• Discuss bugs and technical challenges in-depth and represent your team and technology in cross-functional meetings
• Engage with external customers and collaborate with various stakeholders
• Drive complex, cross-functional projects and manage partnerships while staying hands-on technically
• Make clear, data-driven decisions rather than relying on intuition
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Foster collaboration and support your engineers in a diverse, global team

Minimum Qualifications

* Strong understanding of operating systems fundamentals and mobile device support constraints

• Proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional projects and manage partnerships while staying hands-on technically
• Clear decision-making based on data rather than intuition
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, global team and fostering collaboration and supporting your engineers

Preferred Qualifications

* 2+ years of engineering management experience

• Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent
• Experience with API development and working with API consumers

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

• Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
• Bonus: 10% - 20% of annual salary
