Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Legal Data Entry Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Entering and updating client and case information into legal database systems
  • Organizing digital case files, legal correspondence, and court records
  • Maintaining document version control and ensuring file integrity
  • Assisting legal assistants and attorneys with basic clerical tasks
  • Ensuring compliance with legal confidentiality and data protection standards
  • Preparing simple reports or summaries from structured data (optional)

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's or Legal Admin Certificate preferred)
  • Typing speed of 45+ WPM with strong accuracy
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace
