Job Overview
As a Distribution Clerk, you will be responsible for the preparation of orders for efficient and accurate shipment by UPS or other carriers. This will involve:
- Picking orders by utilizing digital or electronic product codes
- Stacking full cases weighing 1 to 25 pounds
- Loading freight onto carrier trailers
- Moving materials within the warehouse, using electric hand jacks to move heavy items
- Receiving inbound freight
- Loading and unloading freight into the company warehouse
Responsibilities
* Prepare orders for shipment by accurately selecting and packaging products
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and accurate order preparation
- Utilize digital or electronic product codes to pick orders
- Stack full cases weighing 1 to 25 pounds
- Load freight onto carrier trailers
- Move materials within the warehouse, using electric hand jacks to move heavy items
- Receive inbound freight
- Load and unload freight into the company warehouse
- Meet productivity and accuracy standards
- Work overtime when required
- Be available to work 3rd shift
Required Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
- Ability to lift 10 to 20 pounds regularly and heavy loads up to 50 pounds on a moderate basis
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for 8 to 10 hours per day, usually Monday-Thursday
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Basic mathematics skills
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of electronic hand scanners, printers, and terminals
Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and software
Terms of Employment
* Must be able to meet productivity and accuracy standards
- Must be able to work overtime when required
- Must be available to work 3rd shift
- Uniforms and safety glasses are required

- Sign-on bonus: $1,000 (to be paid out in two installments at 90 and 180 days)
