About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Customer Administrative Sales Specialist to join our Government Solutions team in Washington DC. This is a remote opportunity that offers the flexibility to work from home while being part of a dynamic and growing organization. As a Customer Administrative Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for making outbound sales contact and pursuing sales leads to develop a portfolio of customers.

You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Accepting orders, closing sales, maintaining customer records, and completing required documentation.
  • Identifying and qualifying prospective customers and recording sales prospecting activity in computer-based tracking systems.
  • Passing leads on to account managers after qualifying.
  • Renewing current customer contracts.
  • Administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Interest in sales, previous sales experience a plus.
  • A high level of energy, self-motivation, competitiveness, and a desire to positively impact the business.

Candidates and/or employees who are not certified by state and local law enforcement to access criminal justice information will not be able to perform the essential functions of this role.
