Job Summary

We're seeking an Experienced Part-Time Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a part-time basis, working Monday through Thursday (with some Fridays as needed). As a key member of our SBU project support team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data entry, file maintenance, and record keeping. You'll work closely with project managers and division administrative managers to guarantee that all data is collected and entered correctly, enabling seamless billing and documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Accurately enter multiple items into our systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy - Collaborate with project managers and division administrative managers to collect and enter data, ensuring compliance with project requirements - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and documentation - Provide exceptional support to project teams, ensuring timely and efficient data entry and processing - Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our systems, processes, and procedures - Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need: - A High School diploma or equivalent - 1-3 years of clerical or administrative experience - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) - Advanced typing ability (at least 60 wpm) - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in a data entry or administrative role - Familiarity with database management systems and software - Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Certification in data entry or a related field (e.g., Certified Administrative Assistant)
