Job Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part-Time Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers via phone, email, Instant Message chat, and social media networks. You'll be the first point of contact for our customers, and your ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively will make a significant impact on their experience with blithequark.

Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
  • Communicating with customers through various channels, including phone, email, chat, and social media, to provide timely and effective support.
  • Responding promptly to all customer inquiries, including billing, technical support, homeschooling, and product-related questions.
  • Identifying patterns and suggesting remedies to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, comments, and complaints.
  • Satisfying customer concerns by providing appropriate solutions or alternatives within the limits and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Using techniques that will leave an impeccable first impression and maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and team members at all times.
  • Working occasional Saturdays and mandatory overtime during August, September, and January.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:
  • A minimum of 2 years of customer service and retention experience, with a strong background in call center and remote work.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Outlook, email systems, and the internet.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A minimum of 1 year of homeschool experience is a plus.
  • A reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
