Job Overview

The Pharmacy Resident position at blithequark is a unique opportunity for college students to gain hands-on experience in community pharmacy practice, while also developing their skills in data entry and management. Key Responsibilities

• Clinical: Participate in required long-term rotations in community, specialty, mobile, and medication safety, and turn through different sites to achieve the objectives set out by the accreditation guidelines.
• Educational: Have opportunities for teaching, including small group and larger educational lectures, and act as an assistant preceptor for the community pharmacy practice laboratory.
• Functional/Managerial: Develop administrative skills as a pharmacist, including time with the pharmacy manager at the two locations, as well as with the Pharmacy Managers at blithequark to grasp the details of pharmacy operations.
• Leadership/Management: Engage in state and national pharmacy associations, attend Massachusetts Pharmacy Association meetings, and participate in regulatory projects to further the practice of pharmacy.

The objectives of the Pharmacy Resident position at blithequark include:

• Engaging the resident in the clinical, educational, functional, and administrative aspects of community pharmacy practice
• Preparing the resident to assume clinical, educational, functional, and administrative responsibilities within the community practice setting

• Developing the resident's precepting and teaching skills
• Contributing to quality improvement programs where appropriate

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for the Pharmacy Resident position at blithequark, you must:
