We are now seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service and Returns Associate to join our team and help us deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Job Overview

As a Customer Service and Returns Associate at blithequark, you will be the face of our company, interacting with customers and providing them with an outstanding experience. You will be responsible for receiving, processing, and returning customer orders, as well as assisting customers with any questions or concerns they may have. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, where no two days are ever the same. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, pick, and stow customer orders, process returns, and prepare for delivery
  • Assist customers with questions and concerns, providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Work through problem-solving scenarios for customers, finding solutions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to blithequark's high standards of quality and safety
  • Manage responsibilities for a blithequark Locker+ location, including opening and closing the site, and ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently
  • Use technology such as smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders
  • Receive truck deliveries and ensure that all packages are handled and processed correctly

Physical Requirements

In this role, you will be required to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. You will also need to stand and walk during shifts lasting up to five hours, with or without reasonable accommodation. Additionally, you may need to use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around, and go up and down stairs (where applicable).

Our Locker+ locations are designed to provide a safe and comfortable working environment, with minimal noise levels and comfortable temperatures. You will work behind a counter, interacting with customers and sorting packages, and will be required to wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and protective safety footwear (in select business units). We also offer a relaxed dress code, with a few rules to follow for safety.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old, with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines in English
  • Have excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced retail environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Have basic computer skills, with the ability to use technology such as smartphones and handheld devices
  • Be able to lift up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation, and stand and walk during shifts lasting up to five hours
