Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of blithequark at our airport locations, providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring a seamless travel experience. You'll work closely with our team to resolve customer issues, answer questions, and provide information on flights, baggage, and other travel-related topics. If you're a people person with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring a positive and memorable experience

  • Work collaboratively with our team to resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide information on flights, baggage, and other travel-related topics
  • Handle customer transactions, including ticket sales, baggage fees, and other services
  • Operate electronic ticketing systems, boarding processes, and baggage handling systems
  • Manage customer complaints and issues related to oversold flights, delayed or cancelled flights, lost or damaged baggage, and other travel-related concerns
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information on flight schedules, departures, and arrivals
  • Complete forms and reports as required by the company
  • Write incident and complaint reports as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to type or use a computer keyboard with adequate speed and accuracy
  • Ability to understand reports, follow instructions, learn, and comprehend tagging techniques, rules, and guidelines
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful circumstances
  • Ability to complete the Customer Service Representative training program with an 80% or higher average and pass the assessment period
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to handle crises on a case-by-case basis
  • Ability to work under close time constraints to achieve quick turnaround of aircraft
  • Ability to maintain a well-groomed appearance and adhere to the Ground Service Worker Handbook and Work Schedule
  • Ability to perform all job duties within a limited space
  • Ability to communicate verbally by phone, in person, and on public address systems effectively
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to communicate information and directions verbally or through radio equipment

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of airline operations and procedures
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
