Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in optimal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements.
• Assist in creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical stakeholders and leaders.
• Help investigate critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and provide analytical responses to enable senior management to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project responsibility.
• Presentation of insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools supporting the relevant aspects of the analysis to facilitate stakeholder understanding.
• Assist in developing and distributing specific queries to pull and integrate data from various sources, establishing the frequency, and validating the necessity of the data requirements.
• Identify irregularities in processes through audits and convey findings to the team.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of processes and methods by monitoring for trends and anomalies.
• Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision.
• May perform other work duties as directed by the team leader.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong ability to collect, organize, analyze critical amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to effectively listen to, understand, and communicate ideas and present written, verbal, or presentation materials to audiences of varying sizes.
• Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred.
• Ability to grasp the issue, to summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning.
• Able to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is preferred.

• Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is preferred.
• Able to work effectively in a strong support/team-oriented environment.
• Able to commit to responsibilities independently and be a self-motivated individual.
• Past internship experience in a related field is preferred.
