Job Summary

As a Customer Advocate I, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and physicians. You'll work in a call center environment, responding to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner. Your primary focus will be on conducting research, resolving customer issues, and providing solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to telephone and written inquiries from members and physicians in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner

  • Conduct research to resolve customer issues and provide solutions that meet their needs
  • Spend approximately 90% of scheduled time on the phone, with regular breaks to maintain productivity and well-being
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of arenaflex's products and services, as well as relevant medical terminology and anatomy
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex customer issues and provide exceptional service
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • 6 months of customer service experience or 6 months of experience in an office environment
  • Data entry and/or typing experience
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to make independent decisions
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time with scheduled breaks

Preferred Qualifications

* 9 months of customer service experience

  • Experience working with various lines of business, including CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
  • Referral preference given to applicants who can take and meet testing criteria
