About the Role

As an Inbound Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch support to customers of a prominent power company. Your primary goal will be to resolve customer inquiries, address concerns, and offer additional products and services that meet their needs. You'll work closely with our client's customers to provide solutions that exceed their expectations, while also driving sales and revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

* Handle a high volume of inbound calls from customers, providing exceptional customer service and support

  • Assist customers with power outage issues, making payments, creating payment plans, or starting/ending service
  • Offer customers the opportunity to purchase programs for surge protection, home wiring, and water heater repairs
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional products and services to customers, meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide solutions
  • Maintain accurate records and data entry, ensuring seamless communication and follow-up with customers
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

* Prior recent experience working as an inbound customer service agent for at least one year, verifiable

  • Proven track record of success in upselling and cross-selling, with a strong ability to share goals and results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on professionalism and empathy
  • Technical savvy, with the ability to easily learn and navigate multiple screens and enter data while engaging in conversation with customers
  • Time management skills, with a focus on meeting program goals around phone time, customer experience, sales, and other key performance indicators
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in the power industry or a related field

  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technical tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on resolving complex customer issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

* Competitive compensation, including a base salary of $14.00 per hour, plus bonuses and/or commissions
