Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Associate at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

  • Inputting customer and account data from source documents within time limits
  • Compiling, verifying accuracy, and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry
  • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking the output
  • Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents
  • Generating reports, storing completed work in designated locations, and performing backup operations
  • Scanning documents and printing files, when needed
  • Keeping information confidential in accordance with security policies

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs
  • Familiarity with administrative duties
  • Typing speed and accuracy
  • Attention to detail
  • Confidentiality
  • Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, additional certification in Office Management is a plus. If you have experience working with data entry software, such as Excel or Access, that's a definite advantage.
