Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Software Engineer to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our Client Systems team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient web and cloud applications that meet the needs of our customers. You'll work closely with our business stakeholders, application owners, and other team members to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient web and cloud applications using Java and Java-based technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs
- Work with business stakeholders, application owners, and other team members to gather requirements and develop solutions
- Develop and maintain high-quality code that meets our coding standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality of our codebase
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with our applications and infrastructure
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry and apply that knowledge to improve our solutions
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on web and cloud applications
- Strong understanding of Java and Java-based technologies, including Spring and REST
- Experience with database design and data access technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality results
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies and practices
