We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team and provide remote support to Medicaid members and providers.

Position Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional support to Medicaid members and providers through inbound calls. You'll be responsible for answering inquiries, resolving issues, and providing accurate information about benefits, eligibility, services, and prior authorization requirements. To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess strong customer service skills, be self-sufficient, and have the ability to work from home with high-speed internet connectivity.

Responsibilities

* Answer inbound calls from Medicaid members and providers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide accurate information about benefits, eligibility, services, and prior authorization requirements
  • Utilize company-provided equipment and training to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution
  • Meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
  • Work from home with high-speed internet connectivity, using a secure service via ethernet cable (Wi-Fi is not permitted)
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge

Training Schedule

* First 6 weeks: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday

  • Production schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday

Required Qualifications

* Must live within 50 miles of Charleston, WV

  • Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form
  • Ability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
  • Must be able to work from home and prove to be self-sufficient
  • Must commute to the office in Charleston, WV when unable to work from home due to prolonged technical problems

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working remotely in a call center setting

  • Experience with Medicaid and Medicare

Education

* High school diploma or equivalent

Pay Range

* The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $25.15

  • This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
  • The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
