Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Engineer at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying business and technical requirements, leading full technical discovery, and designing client solutions to meet assembled requirements
  • Leading technical projects, technology support, bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of supporting technical assets
  • Delivering product messaging for the blithequark Cloud Platform through the use of whiteboard and slide presentations, product demos, white papers, trial management, and Request for Information (RFI) response documents
  • Driving recommendations on integration strategies, project designs, platforms, and application frameworks to implement a comprehensive solution providing best practice advice to clients to enhance blithequark Cloud Platform effectiveness
  • Attending client sites, meetings, and other events as required

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or a customer-facing role
  • Experience with inheritance and modern application development, cloud service delivery, and infrastructure
  • Experience with containers, including Kubernetes and other related technologies
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of cloud computing platforms and technologies

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Dynamic US Government Top Secret/Secret Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) clearance
  • Experience creating mobile structures using API management, microservice architectures, PaaS, and container orchestration frameworks, or other material platforms
  • Experience working with Government Public Area clients, including defense and civilian agencies
  • Knowledge of application security designs, including web application security, service boundary, and mobile security techniques
  • Ability to learn, understand, and work with emerging technologies, philosophies, and solutions in the blithequark Cloud/IT innovation space
