Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Scientist at blithequark, you will be responsible for:
- Building models and algorithms using technical expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data science
- Developing and implementing advanced analytics and machine learning solutions to drive business growth and innovation
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, research, software development, and business leaders, to define product requirements and provide analytical support
- Communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including business clients and management teams
- Developing and maintaining large-scale data pipelines, including data ingestion, processing, and storage
- Designing and implementing A/B experiments to measure the impact of business decisions
- Working with cloud-based technologies, including Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake
- Utilizing software tools and methodologies, including GitHub, Continuous Integration and Delivery, and Agile methodologies
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, or physics, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced experience in SQL, Python, PySpark, or other programming languages
- Experience with exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and selection, pattern detection, distribution analysis, visualization, and insight extraction
- Experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques, including choice trees, regression, XGBoost, K-means, and anomaly detection
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, including Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake
- Experience with software tools and methodologies, including GitHub, Continuous Integration and Delivery, and Agile methodologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
* Ph.D. in a quantitative field, such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, or physics
- Experience working with IoT and Edge AI
- Experience in Reinforcement Learning
- Experience in Healthcare
