About the Role
As a Distributed Systems Engineer at blithequark, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and deploying scalable, high-performance systems that can handle the demands of our global user base. You will work closely with our team of engineers, product managers, and TPMs to drive cross-functional initiatives and collaborate on the development of new features and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and build scalable, high-performance systems that can handle the demands of a global user base
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and TPMs to drive cross-functional initiatives and develop new features and technologies
- Work with our data engineering team to design and implement data pipelines and architectures that can handle large-scale data processing
- Develop and maintain our data infrastructure, including our data warehouse, data lake, and data processing frameworks
- Collaborate with our machine learning team to develop and deploy machine learning models that can handle large-scale data processing
- Work with our cloud engineering team to design and implement cloud-based architectures that can handle large-scale data processing
- Develop and maintain our data security and compliance frameworks to ensure that our data is secure and compliant with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with our DevOps team to develop and implement automation frameworks that can handle large-scale data processing
Essential Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems features or applications
- Strong understanding of distributed systems design and architecture
- Experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages
- Strong understanding of cloud-based architectures and cloud computing platforms
- Experience with data engineering and data science tools and technologies
- Strong understanding of data security and compliance frameworks
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Python or other programming languages
- Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks
- Experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies
- Experience with cloud-based data processing frameworks
- Experience with DevOps and automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of open-source technologies and frameworks
