Responsibilities

As a Part-time Nights/Weekends, Remote/Hybrid Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming calls and responding to customer requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of flexibility and adaptability
  • Booking appointments for clients with a high degree of data accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintaining excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in person and over the phone
  • Identifying and escalating issues to supervisors in a prompt and effective manner
  • Adapting to fast-changing guidelines and procedures with customers, while maintaining a positive and courteous attitude
  • Informing clients by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing information in a clear and concise manner
  • Maintaining and improving quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines, and continuously seeking opportunities for growth and improvement

Essential Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • A high level of flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and escalate issues to supervisors

  • Basic computer skills, with the ability to navigate our CRM system and other software applications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or relevant experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset in this role:

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a contact center or call center environment
  • Experience working with CRM software and other customer relationship management tools
  • Knowledge of the home improvement industry and its related products and services
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate with clients in multiple languages
  • Certification in customer service or a related field, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Contact Center Professional (CCCP)
