What You'll Do

As a Manager, Airport Customer Care, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day customer service operations at multiple facilities, including the ticket counter and gate areas. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Directly leading and supporting a large team of Customer Service Managers and Customer Service Coordinators
  • Ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve operational performance targets
  • Enforcing all company and departmental procedures, including safety and security protocols
  • Reviewing staffing requirements and bid schedules for all employees
  • Communicating procedural changes to Customer Service Managers and frontline employees to ensure compliance
  • Monitoring and analyzing trends to achieve on-time performance
  • Mentoring and developing employees to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Identifying areas for improvement and developing processes to achieve improved efficiency and productivity
  • Enhancing vendor relations and ensuring contractual obligations are met
  • Ensuring all internal audit requirements are in compliance
  • Developing an annual expense plan and monitoring the budget
  • Assisting with interviews and selection of Customer Service Managers and Customer Service Coordinators
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Completing other duties as required

What You'll Need for Success

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a relevant field, or equivalent experience/training
  • 3 years' work experience in Airline Customer Service supervisory
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficient use of PC-related software
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and handle shifting priorities within a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Ability to effectively delegate work assignments and manage large groups of employees
