Job Summary

As a Tagalog-English Bilingual Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and families, while navigating complex healthcare systems and resolving issues in a timely and compassionate manner. You will work closely with our healthcare professionals, patients, and families to ensure seamless communication, resolve complaints, and provide support and guidance throughout the care journey.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to patient and family inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing empathetic and culturally sensitive support

  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, escalating complex cases to senior team members as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely communication of patient information and care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on healthcare services, benefits, and policies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, including complaints and resolutions
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance language skills, cultural competence, and customer service expertise
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, customer service, communications) preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field
  • Strong command of both Tagalog and English languages, with the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other software applications as required

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a healthcare setting, including hospitals, clinics, or insurance companies

  • Certification in customer service, healthcare, or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative, Certified Medical Assistant)
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills in additional languages
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations, including those with limited English proficiency
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software applications
