Job Summary

As a Patient Care Advocate, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service to our patients, responding to phone inquiries, and addressing their concerns with empathy and expertise. You will be the first point of contact for many of our patients, and your ability to listen, communicate effectively, and provide personalized support will be essential in building trust and fostering positive relationships.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to patient phone inquiries, addressing their concerns and providing personalized support in a timely and empathetic manner

  • Utilize expert listening skills to quickly identify patient needs and concerns, documenting all interactions in real-time
  • Collaborate with patients to understand their pharmacy benefits, providing clear explanations and guidance to ensure they have the best possible experience
  • Identify and escalate patient concerns as necessary, working closely with internal teams to resolve issues and provide solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and easily accessible

What You Should Have

* High School Diploma or equivalent required; College degree or Junior College degree with a healthcare focus preferred

  • 1 year of relevant customer care experience, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional service
  • Intermediate to Advanced PC knowledge, with the ability to navigate multiple screens and systems
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Flexibility to work specified shifts and extended hours as necessary, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
