Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Efficiently Managing High-Volume Calls: Handle a high volume of inbound calls in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that customers receive timely and accurate support
  • Active Listening: Listen attentively to customer needs and provide clear, accurate information to resolve their inquiries
  • Accessing Cardholder Accounts: Access cardholder accounts to provide information about payments and benefits deposited by state or federal agencies
  • Processing Transactions: Process transactions efficiently via web-based applications and handle research requests with precision
  • Maintaining Confidentiality: Communicate in a warm, empathetic manner while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all regulations
  • Supporting Team Operations: Support team operations during peak times or absences to help maintain seamless service

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Customer Service Experience: 6 months of Customer Service, Call Center, or Dispatch experience
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of computers and Windows applications, with the ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
  • Internet Requirements: A verified, secure, reliable, and high-speed internet connection to support business needs
  • Work Area Requirements: An established, dedicated work area equipped with a desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • Previous Call Center Experience: 1+ years of previous call center experience
  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective and confident communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex information and connect with customers in a professional manner
