Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:
- Efficiently Managing High-Volume Calls: Handle a high volume of inbound calls in a fast-paced environment, providing clear, accurate information to customers
- Accessing Cardholder Accounts: Access cardholder accounts to provide information about payments and benefits deposited by state or federal agencies
- Processing Transactions: Process transactions efficiently via web-based applications and handle research requests with precision
- Communicating with Customers: Communicate in a warm, empathetic manner while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all regulations
- Maintaining In-Depth Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of company and client programs, policies, and technology
- Supporting Team Operations: Support team operations during peak times or absences to help maintain seamless service
Essential Qualifications
To be successful as a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Customer Service Experience: 6 months of customer service, call center, or dispatch experience
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of computers and Windows applications
- Internet and Equipment Requirements: A verified, secure, reliable, and high-speed internet connection, a dedicated work area equipped with a desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection, and a laptop or desktop computer provided by the company
- Background Check and Credit Check: Completion of a background check, credit check, and security fingerprinting
- Compliance with Camera Requirements: Compliance with camera requirements for meetings and training
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
- Previous Call Center Experience: 1+ years of previous call center experience
