Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative/Call Center Specialist at blithequark, your responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming calls and responding to client inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Providing accurate information about services, policies, and procedures to clients
  • Resolving customer issues, complaints, or concerns efficiently while ensuring client satisfaction
  • Documenting client interactions and maintaining detailed records of all communications
  • Escalating complex issues to appropriate departments as needed
  • Assisting in the training of new team members to promote consistent service delivery
  • Contributing to team goals by meeting performance metrics and supporting a positive team environment

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

To ensure success in this role, you will be measured against the following KPIs:

  • First Call Resolution (FCR) rate: 80% or higher
  • Average Handling Time (AHT): 5 minutes or less
  • Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) score: 90% or higher
  • Net Promoter Score (NPS): 50 or higher
  • Team participation and engagement: 100% attendance and active participation in team meetings and training sessions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus
  • Previous experience in customer service or call center environments is preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism
  • Proficiency in using customer service software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Empathetic approach towards clients with a strong desire to provide excellent service
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the business
  • Authorized to work in the USA

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

  • Experience with CRM software and customer service platforms
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements
  • Certification in customer service or call center management
  • Fluency in multiple languages
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
